StratLoft is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect
- —Account information: name, email address, and password (managed via Clerk).
- —Profile data: trading style, experience level, risk tolerance, and preferences you provide.
- —Usage data: pages visited, features used, time on platform, and interaction events (via PostHog analytics).
- —Journal and portfolio data: trade notes, position details, and performance data you enter.
- —Waitlist data: email, name, and trading preferences submitted via our waitlist form.
- —Payment data: processed entirely by Stripe. StratLoft does not store credit card numbers.
- —Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and error logs (via Sentry).
2. How We Use Your Information
- —To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform.
- —To personalize your experience based on your stated preferences.
- —To process payments and manage your subscription.
- —To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts, access notifications).
- —To send educational content and product updates (you may opt out at any time).
- —To monitor platform health and fix errors.
- —To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
3. Data Sharing
- —We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- —We share data with Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring) as necessary to operate the platform.
- —We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of StratLoft and its users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days except where retention is required by law. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
5. Your Rights
- —Access: You may request a copy of your personal data at any time.
- —Correction: You may update your profile data directly within the Platform.
- —Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data.
- —Opt-out: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.
- —Data portability: You may request an export of your journal and portfolio data.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how members use the Platform. See our Cookie Policy for details. You may opt out of analytics cookies without affecting core functionality.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication (Clerk), and row-level security in our database. No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact security@stratloft.com immediately.
8. Children
StratLoft is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at legal@stratloft.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
